"Good.." Lena plugged her mp3 player into the car radio and tapped her fingers on the steering wheel. "It's on shuffle, but if you guys want to look for something, go ahead." She yawned and started to drive.

Rose leaned forward and looked through the songs. Suddenly she squealed loudly "YESH!!!"
She pressed play and over the speakers came..
"I wanna be the very best that no one ever was..."

He shook his head in annoyance, slipping the sleeves onto his arms. "Fine, fine.." His eyes slowly opened as he stared out the window and watching the trees pass them by. Pokemon, season one.. 1997.. he thought to himself to keep him busy at the slow ride to the store.

Rose couldn't keep herself from belting out the lyrics. She had always been in love with this song since her friend had introduced her to the show. She began to shake David's arm as she sand then suddenly she let out a loud scream of "BEEF! I CHOSE YOU!!" and leaned into David giggling like an escaped insane asylum patient.

Lena snorted softly. "Thank you, Rose. Thanks. So um.. How old are you guys anyways?" She had finally realized the two people in her car were practically strangers.

Rose looked up and spoke almost automaticaly "i'm seventeen. Hope thats not too much a problem.." She smiled sweetly and said "how old are you Lena? And you David?" leaned her head back and continued to hum the song.

"Seventeen here.." He looked down at the one known as Rose as her hyperactive personality distracted him from the scent of blood in the car. It was a rare occasion when one could distract him of such. It had only been about 250 years since he had turned into a creature of the night after all. Maybe it was because he could control all of his emotions when he was still a human and was quickly getting over the scent of blood? Sure the taste still appeased him but he had gotten a lot better at controlling his lust for it over the years..

Lena nodded. "I'm seventeen too. What about schools? Do you guys go to Forks or the school down at La Push?" She looked at them in the rear view mirror.

Rose look at him suprised "really? Are you anemic?" OMG Lena!! DOGGY!!" with that she climbed right across Davids lap and leaned into the window staring at a cute doggy. "its such a cute puppy!"

"I, uhh.. Just moved here actually.. So I suppose I'll be going to Forks in the next week or so.." He looked back out the window as he finally saw the city in the distance. "Anemic.? Err.. No. Not really." He tried to remain as quiet and not give away too much information. His eyes widened and he leaned back fast as the female crawled across him to look out the window. Hyper much..?

Rose turned to Lena "oh I go to la Push, my uncle recently enrolled me but i'm getting moved to forks." suddenly rose slipped off the seat. She immediately grabbed David's leg. She leaned her head against him and laughed as she turned bright red. "sorry David.."

She nodded again. "Can someone find another song, please?" She tossed her hair behind her shoulder and turned on the windshield wipers as the rain picked up. "I go to Forks. Don't worry, David. The food doesn't completely suck... How are you liking our soggy little corner of the world so far?" Lena leaned back in her seat. "If you need anything, let me know, okay? You should probably sit down and buckle up, Rose.. I am not going to jail because of a dog."

His face turned stoic as she slipped before he used one of his hand to slowly push her back up into her seat. He let out a sigh afterwards, going to grab the MP3 player from the front of the car. He looked through it before landing on Josh Turner's I Wouldn't Be A Man. His eyes closed again as his head leaned backwards.

rose laughed as she got back up and buckled. "it was a cute dog." she started bitting her lip again as she put on escape the fate.

"I don't care if it's the last dog on earth, it's not worth my insurance going up." She parked in front of the store and turned off her mp3 player. "There's an umbrella on the floor back there if you guys want it." She climbed out of the car and pulled her sweater on over her shirt as she headed into the store.

He took the jacket that Rose gave him off and returned it to her before he stepped out of the car when they parked. His mind instantly returned to escaping as looked around and finding almost no crowds to get lost in in the small town.

A young woman, looking around the age of sixteen with a dark shade of brown for her locks of hair which cascades down to her mid-back strides up to Valena, her hazel hues hidden behind the slim black shades that rested on the bridge of her nose, her tone in skin a light creamy tan. Her choice of clothing? An average long sleeved leather jacket, the zipper all the way down, allowing her dark blue tank top to be visible. A golden necklace hung around her slender neck with a wolf fang as a pendant, long black jeans and average black Converses were worn as shoes. "Excuse me, ma'am... might you have an extra twenty-five cents for me?" Her tone in voice was a low one, but kept at a feminine level.

rose grabed the umbrella and stood next to david."you should keep the jacket on..your still so cold"she whispered touching his arm. Rose held the umbrella above them both.

Lena jumped and squeaked, completely startled. "Yeah, sure." She reached into the pocket of her dirty, faded jeans and pulled out a dollar in quarters. "Here, just in case you need a little extra. I hate carrying around change, it makes jingly noises.." She shuddered at the thought and held the coins out for the girl to take.

Sierra let out a soft laugh, an eerie harmonic tint dripped from her voice. "I appreciate the kindness, ma'am... and I do agree with the point you're trying to make. But... money makes the world go 'round, right?" she replied, lifting a hand up and pulled down the shades just a bit off of the bridge of her nose, tilting her head down a few degrees and stared at the other, her hazel hues burning with a sense of mystery behind them. "So, been traveling from far?" Sierra raised a brow, gazing over at the rest of Lena's companions.

He sighed and shook his head, putting the coat back on not to cause a fuss. "Alright.." I swear this woman is going to be the death of me.. His head snapped over to the newcomer from her words of 'traveling'. "I have.. I don't know about this one here." He pointed to Rose and let out a yawn, giving off a fake shiver.

"Really now...?" Sierra stared at David, giving a smirk. She wasn't really interested before, but now she was. There was a 'bloodsucker' with these humans -- or mostly known as a Vampire in a more universal sense. That strong stench of death reeked from the young man, along with a lingering scent of blood in the air. Had David fed off of these humans already? She didn't know, but she yearned to find out. Life was once more becoming more interesting now that she ran into this lovely small group. Sierra held back the burst of energy that shot up within her very nerves, and diverted her gaze over to Rose. "Well, where are you from then?"

rose smiled uneasily at the girl. She slowly inched behind David ad peaked out from behind ."Alaska" she whispered.

"Alaska, huh?" As Sierra spoke, her tone of voice raised in volume a bit while she pulled her shades back up onto the bridge of her nose, adjusting them just to have her eyes completely hidden behind the object. "Where the four winds collide in harmony... I've been there, it's a wonderful place." A grin appeared on her rosy pink lips.
